It's standard procedure all over the world – in Poland still a bit of a social taboo, without an obvious status. We've been watching European and American films and TV series for decades, and it surprises no one to see business partners celebrating successful deals with drinks at places especially designed for that purpose. However, in Eastern Europe, we still seem unsure about this form of celebration. Let us hope the newly opened EXECUTIVE LOUNGE at Warsaw Breweries will finally break those social stereotypes.
Executive Lounge finalizes the list of residents in our prestigious Wola district location. This bar or meeting point, chillout spot or business success celebration destination, whatever you prefer to call it, has taken occupancy at the Brewhouse Apartment Building (Apartamenty Przy Warzelni). Yes, that's the beautiful wavy building, painted the colour of copper vats in Krochmalna 59. The innovative geometrical logo with a martini glass hidden amidst the patterns, towers proudly over the Executive Lunge entrance, and works also as an inviting neon to help seekers find their favourite spot for raising a toast. The unusual logo design is a pretty accurate representation of a refined interior for guests with refined taste. The interior itself does the logo justice in that respect.
The space is all kinds of shades of gold and brown, and is divided into a larger open area and several much more private boxes, perfect for those who would prefer to keep out of the limelight for a while. The interior is complete, with sophisticated wall decor that points to the owners not being strangers to the secrets of authentic interior design. Executive Lounge is both a place for refined tastes and privacy. The Living Room space can contain up to 30 guests, and the outdoor bar area another 15.
Let's have a look at the drinks menu, as after all this is not a place one comes to to have a drink of water (obviously, also available on the menu). Signature cocktails (EXECUTIVE COCKTAILS) play the first fiddle here – you'll definitely find Mai Tai, Champagne Shower and Violette 75 on the list.
The Executive Lounge completes the list of places in Warsaw Breweries. This bar - or, if you prefer - a place to meet, relax and celebrate business successes - lives in the building of Malthouse Apartments (Apartamenty przy Warzelni). Yes, this beautiful copper building at 59 Krochmalna Street has received multiple architecture awards over the last 2 years.

Ask at the bar for details, but rest assured that the achievements of the Lounge's bartenders will satisfy anyone, regardless if they're celebrating a professional or personal success. There are also quite a few classic cocktails and hard liquor to choose from, plus an extensive wine list. Add to that an interesting liqueur section where you will find the usual suspects and a couple of rarities, such as Fernets, Cynar (artichoke liqueur) and the very mysterious P31 liqueur. Those who've tried it know what we're talking about.
The venue also serves exquisite Italian coffee by day (opens at 4 pm in the summer), healthy mocktails and snacks. Burrata, eggplant mousse, beef sirloin tartar or beef carpaccio are just a few worth mentioning among those. If you're craving something more substantial, you might want to go for Shrimp Caesar Salad or the Tuna Bowl – with shrimp, tuna, wakame, rice and wasabi mousse.
To sum up, you can grab a bite and raise a toast here – to a new deal, successful cooperation, birthday boy or girl or any other special occasion. All that in a place that pleases the eye and makes you feel unique thanks to a truly sublime ambiance.
