Exactly 50 years ago, on July 19th 1972, at Warsaw Breweries, precisely where we stand today, the original American license Coca-Cola production line was launched! A bottle at the „Supersam” store cost 19 zloty, and the bottle deposit was 8 zloty.
Similarly, exactly 40 years ago, a famous Polish poetess – Agnieszka Osiecka – won a Coca-Cola slogan competition. What was the slogan, you may ask? You can find a clue on our famous stairs which are now a display for a 50th anniversary Coca-Cola in Poland timeline graphic, prepared especially for this occasion by the very talented Karol Banach.

Who is Karol Banach?
He calls himself 'a boy with a pencil and crayons'. He loves great design, coffee and all kinds of pets. As a child, he used to draw cars continuously, while listening to heavy metal music. Currently, his works are put on display both domestically as well as internationally. You can admire his artistic finesse on our stairs starting today, and there's a lot to be admired!
