Classical music concerts in the garden of Warsaw Breweries
Every Saturday in July, at 4:00 PM, in the shade of the trees in the Central Garden of Warsaw Breweries, the sounds of piano, violin, cello, and many other instruments can be heard. This is "Classics at the Brewery," a series of concerts dedicated to classical music. Admission to the events is free.
"Klasyka w Browarach" is a series of concerts that bring back timeless pieces by classical composers, but also showcase new, classical-style arrangements of contemporary works.
On July 13, the summer stage of Warsaw Breweries will feature the Poldowski String Quartet, consisting of Marta Piórkowska, Agata Krystek, Damian Kułakowski, and Mateusz Błaszczak. The ensemble debuted in 2023 during the WarszeMuzik festival and has already won the Virtuoso International Music Award in London. The string quartet will perform the concert "Light and pleasant," featuring works by masters such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonio Vivaldi, Piotr Tchaikovsky, as well as classical popular music by The Beatles and Ennio Morricone.
On July 20, the stage will belong to the young and talented piano virtuoso, a laureate of national and international piano competitions – Józef Domżał. He will present the program "Composer Friends," dedicated to the works of two great composers: Franz Liszt and Frédéric Chopin.
The grand finale of "Klasyka w Browarach" will take place on July 27, featuring a performance by the Johann Strauss Salon Orchestra. For nearly 30 years, the formation has delighted audiences not only with the captivating waltzes and polkas of the Strauss family but also with operetta, dance, musical, and film music. The ensemble will transport listeners to the magical world of cinema with unforgettable melodies. The program will include memorable compositions from films such as "Titanic," "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Gladiator," "Star Wars," and "The Phantom of the Opera."
- The first concert of July’s "Klasyka w Browarach" is behind us – pianist Zuzanna Krystian Browalska performed on the stage of Warsaw Breweries, playing pieces by Frédéric Chopin and Karol Szymanowski. Ahead of us are three exceptional performances by artists who will bring back music that connects generations. We warmly invite you – we guarantee unique musical experiences and unforgettable memories - says Milena Nawrat, Marketing Manager at Echo Investment.
The concerts take place in the Central Garden, at 60 Grzybowska Street. Admission is free. The events are organized in collaboration with the "Sounds of Art" Foundation.
