Outdoor poster exhibition
While strolling through the Haberbusch and Schiele woonerf, you can admire the best works of artists who participated in the international competition "We Want Jazz: KOMEDA55."
On September 22nd, the opening ceremony of the outdoor exhibition featuring the finalists of the 6th International Poster Competition "We Want Jazz: KOMEDA55" took place in the Warsaw Breweries. The exhibition will be on display until the end of October. The competition jury: Prof. Lech Majewski, Andrzej Wąsik, Milena Nawrat and Agnieszka Holwek presented commemorative certificates and the album Polska Szkoła Plakatu (The Polish School of Posters), sponsored by BOSZ Publishing, to the winners and distinguished artists.
This year's best works were submitted by Jerzy Skakun, Sebastian Bauman, and Katarzyna Czapska, who stood out among seven hundred artists from eighty countries.
The award ceremony and exhibition opening were highlighted by a concert from the group EABS, which transported the large audience into the world as seen through the eyes of Krzysztof Komeda, a renowned jazz musician, composer and film score creator.
Throughout October, we continue to embrace the jazz atmosphere, so we warmly encourage you to take a stroll through the Warsaw Breweries and enjoy the artists' works!
