Exhibition of Polish illustrators
The revitalized Warsaw Breweries, opened in 2021, have become a place for living, working, and spending free time. This unique urban space, which combines offices, residential blocks, restaurants, cafes, green squares, and plazas, has been loved by both Warsaw residents and tourists. The Warsaw Breweries are also a venue for promoting culture and art, attracting many talented artists.!
Since the revitalization of the site, one of the main attractions of the Warsaw Breweries has become the seventeen-meter staircase leading from the Haberbusch and Schiele woonerf to the square by the historic Leżakownia. It’s no wonder that it captivates passersby. The stairs feature unique, colorful graphics referencing street art traditions. The graphics change several times a year, designed by wonderful Polish illustrators supported by the Warsaw Breweries. Over the past few years, the stairs have served as a canvas for the creative expression of several artists: Karol Banach, Katarzyna Bogucka, Dawid Ryski, Jan Kallwejt, Justyna Stasik, Michał Loba, Justyna Cychowska, Anna Rudak, Renata Krawczyk, Martyna Wójcik-Śmierska and Karolina Lubaszko.
In tribute to the illustrators and their extraordinary works, we decided to organize an exhibition of the graphics that have adorned the stairs. They will be displayed along the pipeline next to Haberbusch and Schiele. The outdoor exhibition will start on April 1 and will last the entire month.
