Stanisław Soyka's concert concludes the second edition of the Wola Jazz Festival
On June 30, the final concert of the Wola Jazz Festival took place on the open-air stage of Browary Warszawskie, featuring the versatile musician, vocalist, and composer Stanisław Soyka. It was a remarkable conclusion to the second, summer edition of the festival.
The concert attracted crowds of jazz enthusiasts. Stanisław Soyka, known for his unique style and musical versatility, presented a rich repertoire, which, combined with his stage charisma, created an unforgettable spectacle.
Stanisław Soyka's musical journey began in 1979 with a recital at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw. Since then, he has released many albums, including "Don’t You Cry," "Blublula," and "Soyka Sings Ellington," earning recognition both in Poland and abroad. He is an artist known for his unique style and extraordinary musical versatility – ranging from jazz, blues, and gospel to classical music and rock. He has collaborated with many musicians and bands, including Tie Break, resulting in unforgettable projects such as the album "Acoustic" and the hit "Tolerancja." His interpretations of poetry and Shakespeare's sonnets, including the albums "Soyka. Sonety Shakespeare" and "Shakespeare a cappella," showcase the depth of his artistic explorations.
The concert took place in the greenery of the Central Garden. It was a perfect culmination of the Wola Jazz Festival. However, Warsaw Breweries is not saying goodbye to jazz this summer.
