4th Wola Jazz Festival at Browary Warszawskie
The next Wola Jazz Festival kicks off on the last weekend of August. This year, the stage will feature artists from the new wave of Polish jazz, including bands like Klawo, ZK Collaboration, and Kosmonauci. Admission to the concerts is free of charge.
The Wola Jazz Festival concerts will take place every day starting at 7:00 PM on the outdoor stage of the Central Garden (Ogród Centralny) in Browary Warszawskie.
August 28 The series of musical events will be opened by the leaders of modern jazz from ZK Collaboration – a band formed by a group of friends led by Maciej Kądziela and Adam Zagórski. The formation has released the album "Slow Food" as part of the legendary Polish Jazz series (vol. 86), and in their work, they focus on thoughtful quality, breaking down barriers, and improvisational freedom. At 8:00 PM, the Gdańsk-based sextet Klawo will perform, boldly mixing funk, soul, fusion, and 70s psychedelia with contemporary post-Dilla jazz, indie, and electronic music. The band has played over 100 concerts in 15 countries, and in May 2026, they released a live album "Live at Montreux," recorded during the iconic Montreux Jazz Festival.
August 29 The Tricity quartet Proszę Zamknąć will appear on stage. The band's work is based on original Polish lyrics dressed in an eclectic combination of alternative, pop, jazz, folk music, drum'n'bass, and free improvisation. At 9:00 PM, the stage will be taken over by the Gdańsk quartet Ńoko, which searches for common ground between darker varieties of jazz and the world of electronic music, translating club energy into the language of live instruments and trance rhythms. The band will be accompanied by guest artist Novika.
August 30 The final evening will open with a concert by Kosmonauci – a Polish boyband originating from jazz, whose music draws from hip-hop, drum’n’bass, and improvisation. Following a well-received debut, in April 2026, the group released their second album "Brudna-Bielizna" under U Jazz Me (a sublabel of U Know Me Records). The festival will conclude at 9:00 PM with a vinyl DJ set by Zura – a DJ, producer, music director of the Warsaw club SPATiF, and a member of the legendary Soul Service collective, co-author of the cult compilations Polish Funk and Kroniki Filmowe.
