Wola is one of the capital's districts most affected by the tragic history of World War II. It was here, in August 1944, that the first key clashes of the Warsaw Uprising took place, forever changing the face of the city. Today, the streets of Wola—including the revitalized Warsaw Breweries area—blend modern architecture with authentic testimonies of the insurgents' heroism and the tragedy of the civilian population.
Historical walk with Łukasz Ostoja-Kasprzycki and Przemek Ciunowicz
We invite you to a unique walk where famous history popularizers will share their stories: Łukasz Ostoja-Kasprzycki, creator of the "Po Warszawsku" project, and Przemek Ciunowicz. Your guides will lead you through places that still bear the marks of those days, telling the stories of the residents and soldiers who fought for freedom.

The event starts promptly at 4:00 PM. The meeting point is the stairs at Warsaw Breweries, located at 2 Haberbusch i Schiele Street. Participation in the walk is free of charge and is part of an educational series planned for 2026 by Warsaw Breweries.
