WITH US, YOU WILL LOVE HOLIDAYS IN THE CITY
The new quarter of the Warsaw Wola district has been continuously bustling with life for a year now. Nothing is going to change in that respect this summer either! July and August at Warsaw Breweries are all about the summer stage, open-air cinema, outdoor concerts, entertainment for kids, meetings with book authors, stand-up comedy, improv shows and a ton of other reasons to visit the Breweries this summer!
Warsaw Breweries showed everyone last year where summer really happens! You can cool down easily here in the shade of blooming meadows or next to the fountain. But there's more! If you harbour even a shadow of doubt as to whether the Breweries are taking a break from spoiling their guests this summer, think again, because this summer's entertainment at the Breweries will be hotter than the weather! Case in point, check out our summer schedule below.
Summer stage with … exceptional artists!
Summer is inseparably associated with open air events. Starting July 8th, Warsaw Breweries are launching their summer stage with live music events. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings will be a relaxing quiet experience. It will be filled with gentle and smooth acoustic sounds, which will enable you to truly tune into the summer atmosphere. Performing artists will include Leski, Maki Trio, Alicja Łapińska, violinist Tomasz Mreńca, cellists from Cello Brothers and Ronja x Wrona. Fridays and Saturdays are dedicated to those who are down for some weekend fun! That is why our beautiful and green Laboratory Courtyard will host artists such as Bisz & Radex, Tropical Soldiers in Paradise, Tęskno, Jann, Jagoda Kret and Hela. However, summer stage is not only intended for music events. Best stand-up comedians in town will take over the stage on Mondays, including Kasia Kołeczek, Aleksandra Radomska and Jasiek Borkowski. Last but not least, Wednesday evenings are reserved for Resort Komedii (Comedy Department) and their improv shows. prepared especially for this occasion. You will find a detailed agenda of Summer Stage events on the Warsaw Breweries Facebook page events section, as well as on Follow The Step. Keep in mind that no matter the day of the week, there will definitely be an artist performing on the Summer Stage at 8 pm!
Yoga, outdoor cinema, kids' workshops and a bike repair shop
Weekend entertainment starts with a weekly Warm-up Party, a Friday DJ set on the stairs leading to Leżakownia Square, where all the weekend madness takes place! Music, cocktail favourites and lots of greenery – doesn't it all sound like a perfect Friday plan? Aside from weekend concert events, Warsaw Breweries have also prepared lots of fun activities for kids and people who enjoy physical fitness. We have 'lawn yoga' on the menu, as well as a free Saturday bike repair service for those who want to spruce up their bicycles for free. Saturdays and Sundays are also full of fun activities for children. The Breweries's Central Garden will, for example, host an upcycling workshop where kids will learn some environment-friendly techniques. A special activity for kids on Sunday, prepared by Roboty i Spółka (Robots Inc.), will let children's imagination run wild allowing them to create 3D images on saran wrap canvasses.
But that's still not all! For kids of all ages, there will be a special weekend board games zone, uniquely placed in nature and open air. To make this heavy agenda burst at the seams even further, we have also added outdoor cinema evenings. You can watch some of the best Hollywood productions every Wednesday and Sunday at 9.30 pm at the Breweries. Screenings will include such blockbusters as „La La Land”, „Green Book”, „Sound of Metal”, „Transformers: The Last Knight”, „Lucy” or „Suicide Squad”.
A journey into the past and a moment for canine photo ops
Another permanent addition to the host of Breweries' hot spots is definitely a canine photo wall. To call Warsaw Breweries dog friendly is to say nothing at all! You can tell by looking at social media pics, that dogs are the true celebrities here! That's how the first Polish canine photo wall came to be! You have a variety of backdrops to choose from – just as wide as that of dog personalities. So what's left for you to do but to take your furry friend for walk and bring it over to the Breweries for a great photo op on backdrops created by none other than Jan Kallwejt?
Summer at the Breweries is not all about outdoor music and cultural events. There are also important anniversaries and debuts to speak of. Coca-Cola is celebrating another milestone anniversary this year. It's been 50 years since the start of operations of this brand in Poland, and it all started at Warsaw Breweries. A special project has been prepared for this occasion – it's an interactive exhibition that tells the story of this legendary brand.
There's no doubt that Warsaw Breweries are gonna make some noise in Warsaw this summer. The events calendar is bursting at the seams with all types of parties and cultural activities. You can check the schedule and all current updates here and follow Warsaw Breweries on Facebook and Instagram.
